Having served as the Youth Pastor at Church on Ingestre since the days of ISBC, 2025 has seen Doug transition into a wider role embracing our community both within the church and outside it, networking with other local pastors to try and ensure that the church and wider community are cared for in a godly and responsible manner. Doug also serves in our eldership. Known for his quick wit and "dad jokes", Doug offers pastoral care, Christian counselling, and prayer support to any in our area who call on us - you don't have to be from Church on Ingestre to get helped by Doug!

Whether it's IT support or a church-wide prayer notice, Joel's here to fill the gaps and help Church on Ingestre's ministries and events run smoothly. Born in Palmerston North (judge not, lest ye be judged) and raised in the Open Brethren movement, Joel takes a Berean approach to Scripture, having learned Koine Greek (the language of the New Testament) as part of his first year of theology studies through Otago. Joel serves as our Church Coordinator and Administrator as he chips away at the rest of his Theology degree. Whatever it is, you can call Joel - if he's not the right guy, he should know who the right guy is!
